What is UnityWorld?
UnityWorld is within. Our thoughts create UnityWorld within our minds. UnityWorld can become our own personal reality and, hopefully, will eventually become our collective reality. Actually, I think it's inevitable, so I'm not too worried about the eventual outcome. In UnityWorld, we are all equally within and part of God because God exists around, in, and through all life. Indeed, God transcends all Life, and yet is immanently close at hand. God is All, yet One. His creation is Love. God is Love. How do we know this?
Our thoughts create our world. It's not a matter of belief or non-belief in God, but rather, inaccurate belief about God that results in the terrible Hell-like world we experience today. Our behaviors reflect what we believe about God and ourselves. Unfortunately, we long-ago created God in our image: a loving yet insecure, judgemental, finger-shaking, wrathful, vengeful superbeing who requires our obedience to secure His presence and love.
All the lamps of God are lit by the same spark
The UnityWorld website educates by providing information that helps us to come to a greater awareness of God and our true relationship with God and each other. This website links you to many of the organizations and world religions that, in one way or another, support these ideas. These organizations believe there are no favored religions, nations, or people. UnityWorld-endorsed associations and religions do not claim to be the best way, just another way. They do not claim to be the "one true" religion. Nor do they suggest we are dependent on intercession by clergy or adherence to formal creeds and rituals to be "saved." Their common theme is that God is within, and that God's will for all of us is joy: to simply remember who we are and learn how to experience the joy of God's unconditional love so that we might create Heaven-on-Earth by spreading God's joy.
It's my hope that if you find this website interesting and useful, you'll contribute your ideas and opinions. We welcome your participation and comments.
