What is "The Way"
"I am the way the truth and the life; no cometh unto the Father but by me."
-- Jesus Christ, John 14:6
"I am the way, the truth and the life," means, according to Rocco A. Errico, author of Aramaic Light on the Gospel of John, "what I teach is the path of truth and eternal life." Dr Errico further states, "Jesus personified his teaching. He was the living example of truth in action and the image of the living God. Urha in Aramaic means 'path, way, religion.'"
In his book, And There Was Light, Dr. Errico explains, "What John emphasizes is that Jesus' teaching is the way to know God as the Father of all humanity. His Galiliean Master-Teacher opened the way for everyone.
Centered in Your presence, dear God, I let go of every concern and my soul awakens to new blessings of Your love and grace.
